17FT Aluminum Canoe (3 seats)

Our 17ft 3-seat version of our Aluminum Canoe uses a full-gauge aluminum which makes it the heaviest canoe we have. Primarily used by travellers looking to paddle for a day or a half-day around The Portage Store, it is capable of touring the backcountry despite its limitations. It is the heaviest canoe we have and without a contoured carrying yoke, it is not a desirable choice on portage trails. It is limited in the overall amount of gear it can carry, especially with the third passenger. This canoe is ideal for weekend-warriors, going out for a day paddle or for backcountry trippers on a budget that have planned a trip with very few portages.
