I UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE that I am responsible for inspecting all rental equipment at the time of receipt and that failure to prompt staff of any objections prior to departure is an excepted of its good working condition to be used as is. I understand the rental policies applied and promise to return the equipment listed in identical condition, normal wear and tear accepted at the agreed upon date and time. I agree to reimburse Alquon Ventures Inc. all replacement or repair costs for lost or damaged rental equipment whatsoever the cause while under my care.

I UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE that I am taking part in this wilderness trip at my own risk which entails known and unknown risks that could result in injury, death, or damage to personal property. I fully understand that the risks inherent cannot be fully eliminated.

I agree to RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS Alquon Ventures Inc. and its staff from any and all responsibility or legal liability for damages, relief, or compensation, which I may have by reason of personal injury, death, property damage or loss of any kind that may result from any activity associated with this outfitting service during this wilderness trip or in the future as a result of this wilderness trip, including those caused by the negligence on the part of the company, its employees or agents.

I FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME all related risks associated with this wilderness trip. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in this wilderness canoe trip and that there is nothing medically, physically, and or mentally preventing me from doing so.

I ACKNOWLEDGE having read and understand this liability release and that I am over the age of 18 by my signature below (parents/guardians to sign for minors).

I FULLY UNDERSTAND that this is NOT an INTERIOR CAMPING PERMIT and that one must be obtained from Ontario Parks prior to camping in Algonquin Park.

I UNDERSTAND that Canadian laws require recreational boats to have one lifejacket for each passenger aboard and having all occupants wear their lifejackets is the single best way to REDUCE THE RISK OF BOATING RELATED FATALITY by drowning.
